That Summer Salaam

ALL THROUGH COLLEGE we spent our summers at the beach, getting burnt, getting drunk, getting some of the dingiest accommodations we've ever had in our lives and making some of the best and worst memories to smile or cringe at.

They were a lot of fun. But they were also quite stressful. And maybe it's the reason why I've become the exact opposite of a beach bum ever since I started working.

Concrete, high heels, chauffered rides and blow-dried hair, I should take a break from you once in a while.

Somehow, this robe makes me look forward to a summer by the sea. At the very least, a fashionably loungey one.
