Those Flight Patterns

FLYING HOME TODAY. I'm slightly -no, extremely- upset that we are not able to fly the pets back with us as planned. Kitty and Sunny have been lodging at a pet hotel since February and today, we had intended to head home with them both to be together again after two months of waiting apart.

But the course of true... relocating never did run smooth. This week, an employee of the pet hotel gave Sunny a toy inappropriate for her size. Sunny naturally ripped it up, swallowed a part of it, a bell, which had remained in her system for a significant amount of time. This resulted in Sunny requiring surgery and two weeks to recuperate. She and Kitty would then have to remain in Manila until mid-April when they can head on over to Spain.

By the time Jaime, Kitty, Sunny and I reunite in our Sant Gervasi home, we'd have collectively taken a total of 11 flights since January.

The course of true love never did run smooth. Neither did the cost.
